Yachting training: International Bareboat Skipper Sail

Welcome to our yachting school!
We offer the International Bareboat Skipper Sail basic course, accredited by the Canadian training company IYT (International Yacht Training).
This course is your first step towards self—management of a sailing yacht.

What does the training provide?
Upon completion of the course, you will receive an International Bareboat Skipper license, which will allow you to:,
To rent yachts from charter companies around the world,
Plan your own sea voyages.

How is the training going?
Course duration: 10 days.

Format: theory and practice daily from morning to evening, with a lunch break.
Location: sunny Phuket is an ideal place to learn yachting and relax.

What will you learn?
Theory:
The basics of yacht management,
Navigation and routing,
Reading nautical charts and weather forecasts,
International Rules for the Prevention of Ship Collisions (IPPCC-72),
The use of yacht equipment, including engines and rigging.

Practice:
Mooring in different conditions,
Working with sails: setting, balancing and reefing,
Maneuvering in marinas and bays,
Saving the "man overboard",
Selection and anchoring,
Sailing and engine control of the yacht.
Each student personally performs all tasks under the supervision of an instructor.


Additional charges are paid:
IYT license: 250 euros (per set of documents),
Meals on board, fuel, parking in marinas: about 100 euros for 10 days.

The yacht is fully equipped for training, comfort and safety.
