Route description

The south of Italy is famous for its warm climate, clear blue sea, wonderful local cuisine and the best resorts. We invite you to an interesting trip along the Amalfi coast. Starting from Salerno, Salerno / Marina d'ARECHI, we will visit amazing places: Positano, filled with the lemon aroma of Sorrento, Amalfi, as well as Vico Aquense and the island of Capri. Magnificent landscapes, delicious Limoncello liqueur, leisurely walks through the wonderful streets of old towns, mysterious grottoes and the sun every day — all this awaits you during a fabulous trip on a comfortable yacht.

Saturday
Our journey begins in Salerno, in addition to the romantic promenade and the wonderful Castello Areca Castle, which towers over the city, there are many charming places, squares, churches, palaces and museums

Sunday
Amalfi is a stunning town on the Tyrrhenian coast. From the sea there is a view of medieval buildings located on the slopes of the cliff, going higher and higher. Countless staircases carved directly into the rock connect the buildings. The city is a World Heritage Site. Amalfi is considered the birthplace of the magnetic compass. Stunning landscapes, grottoes, museums, colorful houses, delicious local cuisine — all this awaits you in Amalfi, some of the sights of which appeared already in the IX century.

Monday
Amalfi-Positano. Legend has it that Poseidon, the god of the seas, founded Positano. He was so delighted with the beauty of the nymph Pasithea that he gave her a small town on the coast near Salerno. It was in honor of the nymph that the city of Positano was named. The main attractions of the city are the wonderful nature and majolica–decorated houses that climb steep slopes. Sheltered from the cold winds, Positano has a warm and mild climate, so the bathing season lasts from May to November. Already in early May, the water temperature warms up to a comfortable 20 degrees. After the walk, we return to the Amalfi marina, enjoying the sunset along the way.

Tuesday
We walk beautifully along the coast to the island of Capri, which, because of the color of the surrounding waters, has received the nickname "blue island". According to legend, sirens once lived off the coast of Capri and lured unhappy fishermen here to drive them crazy. Today, not only tourists from different parts of the world willingly come to the island, but also various celebrities — politicians, movie stars, oligarchs. The visiting card of the island is a Blue grotto, the water inside of which has a magical turquoise hue. In addition to the natural beauties, Capri has cultural monuments, wonderful beaches and an excellent underwater world, which fans of scuba diving will definitely appreciate.

Wednesday
The Capri-Sorrento crossing. After breakfast, we go for a walk around the city of Sorrento — an ancient and one of the most famous Italian resorts. Maxim Gorky, Ivan Turgenev, Nikolai Chernyshevsky, Friedrich Nietzsche and Richard Wagner loved to relax here. At all times, travelers have admired the beauty of this city and even called it the best on Earth. Sorrento is also the birthplace of Limoncello liqueur. There are many lemon gardens here, so the lemon has even become a symbol of the city. There are interesting architectural monuments here: churches and cathedrals, wonderful houses with arches and balconies.

Thursday
The Sorento-Vico-Aquense crossing.
Vico Aquense is a small town that is best known for the fact that the great Russian artist Sylvester Shchedrin depicted its surroundings in his sketch.

Friday
The Vico-Aquense-Salerno crossing. In Salerno, in addition to the romantic promenade and the wonderful Castello Areca Castle, which towers over the city, there are many charming places, squares, churches, palaces and museums. Finally, we recommend our guests to visit the shopping street (via dei Mercanti) or as the locals call it merchants Street – this is the territory where local representatives of merchants have settled and traded since ancient times. This street has always been very crowded, which remains to this day. The shopping street is a bizarre mix of museums, stalls and small shops, from here tourist walks and excursions traditionally begin.
