Theoretical training
Training as a sailing yacht captain

Time and place:
Access to the online course for 2 months.
Before practice, an additional free access is given for a week.
E-learning with supportive webinars once a week.
The online course consists of animated slides with video accompaniment by the lecturer.
The course is accompanied by tests for verification. Due to the fact that the course is recorded in the modern SCORM format, it is convenient for students to work with the course.
Once a week, supportive webinars are held where difficult points of the course are dealt with and students can ask questions.

Course program:
Theory and structure of the vessel, Theory of maritime practice, Navigation, Hydrometeorology, IPPSS, Rigging. VHF Operator (Short Range Certificate VHF)

Practical classes

Time and place:
In the evening on weekdays and on weekends.
9 classes for 3 hours.

Intensive 7 classes for 4 hours in the afternoon during the week.

Immediately after the practical course, a 4-day cruise along the Gulf of Finland.

Students can choose a group with a convenient schedule in advance.
Classes are held on the school's own yachts.
Modern cruising yachts are specially equipped and equipped for
ISSA training.
During practical training, the skills of controlling a yacht under the engine (mooring and maneuvering in the harbor) and under sail (overstay turns, fordewind, rescue of a drowning person) are practiced.

Location:
4 day sailing on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland.


Students can choose a group with a convenient schedule in advance.
Sailing is carried out on the yachts of the school in difficult navigational
conditions, among thousands of islands on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland between St. Petersburg and Vyborg.
During the voyage, each student becomes a full-fledged captain for a day.
His responsibilities include planning the transition, analyzing the hydrometeorological situation, mooring, and wiring the yacht to the fairways of the Gulf of Finland.
