Stage 5 of the Marmaris Winter Trophy 2025 – First 40 yacht regatta

Dates: March 27-30, 2025
Location: Marmaris Bay, Turkey

The Marmaris Winter Trophy series unites yachtsmen throughout the winter months, providing an opportunity to compete in different stages.
The stage will begin with training days so that the crews can prepare for the races and work out the tactical and technical aspects of sailing.

Training days
Familiarization with the yacht and the water area.
Distribution of roles in the crew and work on team interaction.
Practicing maneuvering, rounding signs, tactical starts and finishes.
The theoretical part: the rules of racing, tactics of passing the distance.

Racing Days
Holding several races of different lengths in the waters of Marmaris.
The races take place in dynamic conditions: stable winds and difficult routes ensure the saturation of the competition.
In the evening, crew meetings are organized where participants can discuss the race and share their experiences.

Length: 12.5 m – the perfect balance between speed and maneuverability.
