Navi Cup: Tough Offshore for the Brave on a Looping Yacht
The Navi Cup is 600 miles of open sea, where there are no stops, and the wind blows as hard as it can. The spinnaker costs several days, and everything breaks down on the way, as it should be in a real offshore voyage. This is a race for those who are ready for a real challenge, without compromise and ease.
The race starts in Istanbul, from where the yachts go out to sea and head along the coast of Turkey, passing through the Bosphorus Strait. Participants cross the Sea of Marmara, moving south, and, along the way, cross key points such as the Aegean Sea and the famous Turkish islands, including the Prince Islands and the Prince Islands.
The race finishes in Bodrum. This is not just a long crossing, but a real sea challenge, where participants face high waves and strong winds. Stopping is impossible, only moving forward, despite the natural elements.
This year at the Navi Cup we are going on a Looping yacht, Beneteau First 36.7 — ideal for harsh conditions and long voyages. The yacht combines excellent maneuverability and speed necessary for such serious racing. Its design and stability make it easy to cope with high waves and strong winds, and the result-oriented team knows how to control this "monster" at full speed.
It's not for everyone, but if you're looking for a real challenge and want to challenge yourself in one of the most challenging and exciting offshore crossings, the Navi Cup at Looping is a chance to be a part of this crazy adventure.
