Champagne Cup
The Extreme Sailing Championship for non–professional crews is a yacht race, but it still remains in the category of a fun regatta – a bit of a race and a bit of a fleet cruise, but mostly a relaxing vacation.
The main effort is to maintain a friendly atmosphere.
The main goal is the safe return of ships and crews to the port.
The race is conducted according to the general rules of fair play and in accordance with generally accepted principles of sporting conduct and fair conduct.
Expected program:
Saturday – boat meeting, registration
Sunday is a day off, training, boat tuning
Sunday evening – meeting and registration of boats – Vodice
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – race stages
Thursday evening – race evaluation, announcement of results – Vodice
Friday is a free day, a free program
Saturday – return by boat, departure
Proposed route: navigation and carousel stages (night/evening stage, weather permitting) will take place in the area between Murter and Rogoznica (Murter, Tribune, Vodice, Kremik, Rogoznica, Zlarin Islands, Prwich, Kaprie, Girye ...
The race itself starts on Sunday evening with a boat meeting in Vodice. The race lasts for 4 days (Monday – Thursday). And it ends on Thursday evening with the announcement of the winners in Vodice.
