The South Dalmatian Regatta is one of the most anticipated events of the summer season in Croatia. Since its foundation in 1981, it has consistently attracted yachtsmen and adventurers from all over the world.
What makes the regatta special?
History: The first regatta took place in August 1981 and brought together 15 boats. Since then, the event has become an annual event, gaining popularity among professionals and amateurs.
Participants: About 40-50 crews participate in the regatta every year, including experienced sports teams and family cruisers. In 1994, a record was set – 62 ships at the start!
Format: Participants compete on sea routes, enjoying exciting wrestling, picturesque views of Southern Dalmatia and the spirit of yachting fraternity.
