May 15. Arrival by boat in Panama

May 16 – May 24. Panama – Ecuador Crossing (Guayaquil)
May 24th. Arrival in Guayaquil
A walk around the city. One of the most populated cities in the country is Guayaquil, the capital of the province of Guayas. In the old part of the city, an ancient colonial building has been preserved – the Las Peñas district. Wooden buildings of those times still stand on its narrow cobbled streets. The main attractions of the city include the Cathedral, Centenario Square, and the Centro de Artes Theater.
May 25. Guayaquil – Chimborazo Crossing
Chimborazo is an extinct volcano and the highest point in Ecuador (6267 m). Its peak is the furthest from the center of the Earth.
May 26. Visit to the city of Bagnos
Exploring a picturesque city surrounded by mountains. Waterfall tour: Agoyan, Manto de la Novia, Pailón del Diablo – an impressive sight of powerful streams of water.
May 27. The Ecuadorian Amazon
The region is located in the basin of the Napo River, a left tributary of the Amazon. This is where about 60% of Ecuador's mammals live – sloths, monkeys, caimans, cougars, jaguars, pink dolphins, manatees, anacondas, etc. More than five hundred species of birds nest among the dense greenery of the rain forests, including brightly colored macaws and toucans. Predatory piranhas are found in the water, and butterflies of various colors and sizes are circling above the water. Every hectare of the pristine jungle is home to hundreds of species of trees, vines, flowers and herbs, many of which are medicinal. In addition, more than a hundred Native American tribes live in the Ecuadorian Amazon, preserving their identity. The diversity of the region is stunning in its scale, beauty and exoticism, opening up limitless scope for exploration. The opportunity to see all this with your own eyes is unique – and it should not be missed once in Ecuador.

May 29. Kilotoa Crater Lake and Tigua Village
A trip along the route "Puhili Way" through the village of Kilotoa. Visit to the observation deck overlooking the lake. Walk through the Indian community, get acquainted with the culture of the locals.

May 30th. Quito – The Equator Line
Sightseeing tour of Quito city with a visit to the equator line. You will see fascinating panoramas, churches, domes and roofs that are historical relics, and learn about colonial art, architecture, culture, legends and traditions.
Quito, the capital of Ecuador, was founded in the 16th century on the ruins of an Inca city and is located at an altitude of 2,800 m. Despite the earthquake of 1917, the city has the best preserved and least altered historical center in Latin America. The architecture and rich interiors are examples of the Quito Art School, which is a mix of Spanish, Italian, Moorish, Flemish, and indigenous art. The artists of this school worked on stone and wood to give shape to the most important religious events. After an hour and a half walking tour exploring the Old Town, you will understand why Quito was the first city in the world to be included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List.
Visit to the "Middle of the World" (equator line).
Teleferico cable car. Ascent by funicular to an altitude of 4100m above sea level. Amazing view of the city, typical eco-system of the Andes – paramo.
