Yachting training with an ISSA Inshore Skipper license
Intensive course — theory and practice — 1 week. Focus on practice. Location: Greece.
This course is a unique opportunity to obtain a yachting license and master the art of yacht management in one of the most picturesque and yachting-friendly regions in the world. The course is designed for 7 days of intensive training, including both theoretical and practical training, with an emphasis on maneuvers and yacht management. We will travel around the islands, learning not only on the water, but also exploring the beautiful coves and local attractions.
Course price with accommodation and license: 950 EUR
This amount includes:
700 EUR — the cost of the course (theory + practice).
150 EUR — issue of ISSA Inshore Skipper's rights.
100 EUR — course for a radio operator with a VHF SRC license (required for working with marine radio stations).
What is included:
All training: theory + practice. We provide everything you need for training: a yacht, teaching materials, an instructor and an exam.
2 licenses: You will receive ISSA Inshore Skipper and VHF SRC licenses. These documents open up opportunities for independent sea voyages.
Accommodation on the yacht. We will live and spend the night on the Harmony 47 yacht, a comfortable vessel with 4 cabins, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Additional expenses:
Food on the yacht, fuel and parking (~100-200 euros per person), depending on your preferences.
Meals in restaurants are optional (the average check is about 15-20 euros).
Flight to/from Athens and passage to/from the marina (about 10 euros).
Theory and practice of yacht management:
The construction of a sailing yacht.
Safety and behavior on board.
Navigation and the use of navigation devices.
Fundamentals of meteorology and weather forecasting.
Planning of crossings and divergence of vessels.
Marine lights, signs and sound signals.
Practical training:
Instructing and guiding the team.
Yacht management under the engine and sails.
Mooring to the pier, to the buoy and to the anchor.
Maneuvers under sail (turns, adjusting sails).
Working with radio (VHF), man overboard maneuver, anchoring and much more.
Final examination and licensing:
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the exam, you will receive an ISSA Inshore Skipper license and a VHF SRC Radio Operator Certificate.
Yacht accommodation: We provide comfortable accommodation on the yacht, and as an addition, for 300 euros, you can invite a companion who will not participate in the training, but will have the opportunity to live on the yacht and enjoy the trip with you.

Greece is famous for its yacht routes, and the ideal conditions for training are a warm climate, clean water and stable wind. We will travel to the most beautiful islands and coves, combining study with outdoor activities. Our base is located in the easy-to-access city of Nea Peramos, near Athens, and is easily accessible from both the city and the airport.
International accreditation:
The ISSA Inshore Skipper license, obtained upon completion of the course, is internationally recognized and gives the right to operate sailing and motor yachts around the world.
