Tour itinerary

Our yacht school, accredited and a member of the international association ISSA (International Sailing Schools Association), has been operating in Phuket (Thailand) since 2013. We specialize in sailing and motor yachting training, providing international certificates that allow graduates to rent pleasure yachts up to 24 meters anywhere in the world.

Inshore Skipper ISSA Course:

Our most popular course for beginners is training from "zero" to the first captain's level "Inshore Skipper ISSA". The course duration is 12 days and includes:
- 30 hours of theoretical lessons.
- 200 nautical miles of practical training.
- sailing yacht + catamaran

Graduate Support:
Upon completion of the course, we actively support our graduates in organizing their first independent charter flight in Thailand. We help with the selection of a suitable yacht, the conclusion of a charter agreement, jointly accept the vessel and develop the optimal route. We can also accompany graduates to the sea, if necessary.

The educational program includes:

1. Fundamentals of navigation and navigation:
- Theory of sails and the physical foundations of navigation.
- Classification of ships and yacht structure, work with spars and rigging.
- Navigation and cartography, including calculation of the general compass error and methods of observation.

2. Practical skills:
- Sailing and motor yacht management, performing all basic maneuvers, including Man Overboard (MOB).
- Working with the engine, checking and troubleshooting.
- Setting and adjusting sails, working with sheets and halyards.

3. Maritime safety:
- Moving on board, necessary rescue equipment, fire safety.
- Logbook management, watch planning and emergency response.

4. Radio communication and synoptic meteorology:
- Use of stationary and manual VHF radio stations (VHF/DSC Radio), knowledge of standard nautical phrases and phonetic alphabet.
- Analysis of weather forecasts and planning of sea crossings.

5. Additional skills:
- Interaction with charter companies and port services, analysis of insurance and non-insurance cases.
- Handling fenders, mooring, control of an inflatable boat (dinghy, ace).

SRC GMDSS Radio Operator Course:

The SRC GMDSS Radio Operator Course (VHF Radio Operator Certificate) is required for skippers of small vessels in the A1 navigation area. This course, which is part of the Inshore Skipper ISSA program standard, requires a separate exam and license, which are required in many regions of the world.

Use of English terminology:
All terms studied in the course must be known to the graduate in English. Practice and repetition in both languages allow our students to feel confident in any international crew.

We are proud of the quality of our training and strive to provide our students with everything they need for a successful career in yachting.
