To head out to sea you need certificates. To come back, you need knowledge and experience.

The Skipper School focuses on high-quality training in handling a sailing yacht. Only a full understanding of all processes and thorough practice of the necessary skills will give you confidence at the helm.

Our focus is single- or double-handed yacht handling. The practical course suits anyone who wants to master the basics of sailing, and is especially useful for those who dream of voyaging under sail as a couple or with family.

An individual approach is the core of our training, so practice is available either one-to-one or shared with another couple. No more than 4 students are on board at the same time during practice!

Practical training is led by:
Арсений — skipper, yacht instructor (IYT), lecturer, NLP trainer and coach.

At the heart of our work:
Love for yachting... 💞
📚 ...experience, knowledge and skills in yachting, teaching and psychology... 🧠
🎓 ...a teaching methodology from the best Russian-speaking yacht instructors...
🔑 ...the desire to make everything clear and accessible... 🙌
🛋 ...commitment to comfort, quality, and our responsibility... 🥇
🌍 ...and our view of the World and the world of yachting. 🕊

During training a full cabin is reserved for you. The price is quoted per private cabin. The boat kitty is calculated separately: food, fuel, and marina fees during passages. The captain eats with the crew, and his meals are covered by the crew.

You may share a cabin as a couple — with your partner or significant other. If you both train, the per-person price for two weeks is lower.

Practical training is available after studying the theory and passing the tests.
The online "Yachting Theory" course is included.

Training lasts 14 days and takes place twice a week, on weekends.

About me

Professional skipper and IYT instructor. Yachting experience: over 4,000 nautical miles, most of them covered while helming single-handed, with beginners on board, or with a two-person crew.

Experience navigating in challenging weather up to Force 7 on the Beaufort scale, including night passages and anchor watches. My passages in this mode run 2 to 5 consecutive weeks, demonstrating my endurance and confidence on long voyages.

Format: I specialize in cozy yacht journeys for small crews and a camp-style approach (with an expedition focus). This format is perfect for groups of friends, couples, families with or without children, and for those seeking more adventurous, exploratory routes.

I strive to create a harmonious, cozy atmosphere on board, ensuring comfort and meeting each participant’s needs throughout the voyage. I carefully hand-pick participants for join-in trips to ensure mutual respect among all crew members.

I’m comfortable having children on board: I have over 15 years of experience working with kids. From my very first days learning yachting, I’ve captained with children on board. I successfully run trips with children of all ages, including the youngest sailors (from 3 months old). My goal is to create a safe, joyful atmosphere on board, making the journey an unforgettable, enriching experience for children and their families.

Training: my teaching principle is two-person yacht handling, which is ideal for families or pairs of friends. Training groups are limited to no more than 4 people (2 pairs), while maintaining the practice of operating the yacht with two people at a time.

As a professional instructor, NLP Master, and coach, I use an individualized approach, can explain what’s needed in dozens of different ways, and I develop my own training system to ensure students gain a deep understanding of all processes.

Travel philosophy:
I follow an expedition-style approach with an emphasis on nature and exploration, minimizing calls to cities and choosing anchorages over marinas. My trips are ideal for introverts, solo travelers, couples, and families who prefer cozy journeys with a small team. At the same time, flexibility is my strongest suit, and if you request a different cruise format, I will adapt to your preferences.

Motto: Open the World with Us ⇌ Open Yourself — my credo, reflecting the aspiration to discover the world from a different side so travelers can reveal new facets within themselves. My journeys are always about exploration: of the world and of oneself.

Together with my team, I’m building our own fleet — for now in Montenegro. No flotillas, no regattas — only single-boat expeditions. I also plan to develop as a delivery skipper. However, if a regatta request comes in, I will certainly consider it.
