Shangani is a format for those playing in a different league: no crowding, no speedboats around, only your own vessel, your own group and full control of the day on the water.
This 70-foot catamaran has multiple decks, a BBQ area, jacuzzi on the upper deck, chilled drinks and a full set of water toys at anchor. An experienced crew and a personal approach ensure attention to every detail throughout the day.
Route options (8 hours, up to 30 guests)
1. Phang Nga: Phanak → Hong → James Bond Island → Naka
The run through Phanak passes sea caves and hidden lagoons on flat water between limestone walls. Then to Hong with inner lagoons in the silence of the karst. At James Bond Island a stop is made at the vertical stack made famous by the Bond film. At Naka the route continues in warm water and sand for a board-side stop.
2. Naka or Khai → Secret beach Yao Yai (high season)
Starting at Naka or Khai with clear water and simple snorkeling. Then to the secret beach on Yao Yai — a quiet shore with soft sand, no tourist crowds. Swimming, soft sand and shore-side rest without groups.
3. Khai → Maiton → Rang Yai
Khai is used as a short water pause. Maiton offers water suitable for snorkeling with good visibility. Rang Yai provides a stop on sand or flat water.
4. Racha Yai
Run to Racha Yai with stops at reef shelves for snorkeling and swimming. Fuel surcharge +25 000 THB.
5. Hong Krabi → Lao Lading → Phak Bia → Nok
Hong Krabi offers lagoons behind limestone gates with flat water. Lao Lading is a narrow sandy pocket between cliffs. Phak Bia has shallow water and sand for swimming. Nok is a stop for swimming and rest. Fuel surcharge +13 000 THB.
Half-day route options (4 hours, up to 60 guests)
1. Naka → Phae
Start at Naka for shallow water swimming. Then run to the sandy Phae spit for swimming and snorkeling.
2. Khai → Rang Yai
Start at Khai with clear water for snorkeling. Rang Yai is a short stop on shore or water for rest.
3. Secret beach Yao Yai (high season)
Run to the hidden cove. Swimming, soft sand and shore-side rest without tourist groups.
