  • Is it possible to get a yacht license without experience?

You can undergo yacht training without experience. Experienced instructors will teach you how to operate a yacht from scratch. Upon passing the exams, you will receive international yacht credentials.

The most common yacht management licenses are:

    RYA

The Royal Yachting Association - the oldest international yachting courses were founded in 1875. Training is conducted in English. If you're not very proficient in English, there's a chance you might miss some important details.

    YIT

International Yacht Training was established in Canada in 1988. Classes are conducted in the native language of the students. It is the most extensive network of yacht schools.

    ISSA

International Sailing School Association was founded in France in 1969. It is notable for its perpetual licenses, which do not need to be renewed every 5 years.
