The course of the Skipper (captain) of a sailing yacht in the waters of Barcelona.
You can become an independent skipper by completing the full IYT bareboat skipper course with passing the exam and issuing international certificates
, or opt for the IYT compitent crew and become a competent yacht crew member and learn how to sail.
Classes are theoretical and practical at sea on a yacht on weekends on Saturday and Sunday.
One lesson lasts 4 hours.
You can choose the time: from 10 to 14 and from 14-18.
The cost is 65-75 euros (depending on the season).
Theoretical materials and a hot lunch are included in the price.
Approximately 80 hours of classes are needed to gain sufficient knowledge and experience to pass the skipper's exam.
These are 20 lessons of 4 hours each.
When the student is ready, he takes a 2-day exam worth 300 euros.
Upon successful completion of the exam, an international IYT bareboat skipper license is issued, which is accepted in all countries of the world.
The total cost for the skipper will be:
1500e for tuition (in high season)
300e for the exam
250e forwarding of certificates from Canada
The training and exam are in Russian and, optionally, in English.
You can do yachting practice on weekends and on week-long trips under the supervision of an experienced mentor.
