A typical day runs along the south-west coast of Tenerife with a mix of open shore and protected coves, an anchorage stop and swimming in calm water.
Astondoa 46 Fly is a day-format flybridge cruiser. The upper level holds a viewing area, the main deck has shade and seating for both passage and anchor time. The layout lets guests spread out, some stay in shade and some in the sun. The ride is soft and predictable and the passages stay comfortable even for those not used to the sea.
Route option:
Run out of Puerto Colón along the south-west coast between Costa Adeje and Los Gigantes. Pass by the El Puertito area where the water is calmer and turtles often show near the slabs, visible from the rail. Further along the shore turns raw and cliffed with short cuts and caves only reachable from the water. The course then sets under the vertical walls of Los Gigantes where the cliffs rise straight from the water for hundreds of meters and read from the deck. On the arc between Adeje and Los Gigantes pilot whales and dolphins are often met on passage. Anchorage is usually set off Masca or in the El Puertito area for swimming and snorkel by the slabs, after which the run returns to Puerto Colón along the same shore.

Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
I’m inspired by the adrenaline of race starts and the thrill of fighting for seconds, but nothing beats the pleasure of an unhurried cruise: when the sail catches the wind and there’s good food, easy conversation, and a crew you truly want to share the sea with.
