"Nefertiti" - a motor yacht 54 ft with a large open deck and three cabins. Fits up to six guests. Bright saloon with large windows, seating on the flybridge, dining aft. Suits day trips out of Panaji and short coastal runs along Goa.
Handling, navigation and service are fully on the crew, the day goes without household tasks.
Possible route (10 hours)
Departure from Panaji port up the Mandovi River. At the river mouth the old Portuguese fort Aguada stands on the rock by the shore, the lighthouse from the 19th century is still in use. The water is calm with a light tidal set.
Next the route goes to Grande Island. Clear water and sandy bottom with scattered rock plates. Shoals of fish often pass, coral is visible, dolphins hold on the surface. The spot is used for snorkeling and light diving, the current is moderate, depth is easy for swimming.
After the stop the route goes along the coast to Dona Paula. The shore is high with ledges and scrub. The yacht anchors in the shade of the cliff, the water is clean and the bottom reads even. The headland and the bay where the river meets the sea are seen from the anchorage.
The final stop is off Miramar Beach, an open sandy line by Panaji. In the evening the sun drops behind the bay and the city light reflects on the water. After a short stop the yacht returns to Panaji.

About me:
Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
I’m inspired by the adrenaline of race starts and the thrill of fighting for seconds, but nothing beats the pleasure of an unhurried cruise: when the sail catches the wind and there’s good food, easy conversation, and a crew you truly want to share the sea with.
