A typical day is spent in the Bodrum bay area with short runs between the peninsula coves and anchor stops in sheltered water for swimming.
Maiora 24 is an Italian-built motor yacht about 79 feet long, refitted in 2016. Three guest cabins are on board, each with a private head, with shared deck areas in the sun and under shade. The crew consists of a skipper and a steward.
Route
10:00 embarkation in Bodrum port, chilled drinks and light snacks are served on deck
10:30 departure along the coastline toward the coves Cleopatra, Orak and Panaya or toward quiet inlets near Kos Island. Cleopatra is known for its pale sandy bottom and still water near shore, Orak for its deep blue water under a rock wall, Panaya for wind protection by relief which suits a calm anchorage. Kos is chosen for flat water along the shoreline and a view of old fortification walls from the sea.
12:00 anchor stop for swimming, snorkeling by the rocks or a SUP session on flat water inside the lagoon
13:30 lunch on deck with seafood, Turkish meze, seasonal salads and fresh baked dishes
15:30 sun on the teak deck or coffee in the shade with a view of the pines and the sea
17:30 sunset stop in a quiet cove
18:30 return to Bodrum

Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
