"Atoll Villa" - a custom motor yacht built in the style of a Maldivian dhoni, with wide open decks for daytime lounging and soft lighting at anchor at night. The upper deck has a shaded jacuzzi area, the stern platform sits right at the water and gives easy access to the lagoon. On board you have a watermaker, Wi-Fi and full crew service. The yacht can stay overnight at anchor in the lagoon without returning to port. Four cabins, each with its own bathroom, sleep up to eight guests. This is an overnight liveaboard format.

Cruising inside South Malé Atoll between sandbars, local islands and reef edges. The sandbars off Gulhi and Kanduma give you shallow clear water and an open horizon. These spots are used for swimming, SUP and photo stops. Around Maafushi you see island life right from the water, fishing boats at the lagoon entrance, the promenade, the beach strip. Gulhi feels smaller and quieter, streets sit almost on the sand and you can step straight into the lagoon off the stern in waist deep water.
By agreement with the crew you can stop on an uninhabited island for a barbecue set up right at the waterline. After dark, under the lights at the stern, rays often come in close and sometimes reef sharks cruise past. This is watched from the deck only, no in water interaction.
At first light the yacht moves toward the reef off Biyadhoo. On the seagrass beds you often see green turtles, and along the reef edge you can snorkel the drop from sand to coral. On the run past Kandooma Thila you will see local dive boats working the site. Kandooma Thila is known for grey reef sharks. The crew will show you the area from the water surface, without promising a dive. If the group is interested, Kuda Giri can be added, a nearby giris site with a sunken trawler. For divers this is a proper dive stop. For non divers it is a surface look from the tender if conditions allow.
Mandatory charge: Green Tax tourist levy (10.48 € per guest per night)
Included: overnight stay on board, full board meals, wine served with meals, visits to local islands, visits to uninhabited islands, barbecue on a sandbank, watching rays and reef sharks from the boat, snorkel trips and light reef fishing trips, airport meet and transfers, daily bottled drinking water in the cabin, fruit basket on boarding, local fishing tackle, snorkel gear, Wi-Fi, special touches for honeymoon and birthday trips

Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
