"Celine" - a 70 foot motor yacht, fully refit in 2023. Large flybridge with soft lounge seating and shade, an aft deck set up for dinner by the water, bright main salon with panoramic windows. Four guest cabins on board, each with its own head and shower. The boat is set up for overnight cruising and quiet evenings at anchor in the bays of the Tuscan Archipelago.
The skipper has long Med experience. Private and charter boats, offshore miles, regatta background, he knows this coast in detail and runs the boat in a calm, confident way. The stewardess has been in charter since 2013 and covers service and galley. She is attentive, quick, and reads the pace of the day. The crew works smoothly so the trip feels easy and relaxed for the guests.
Route, overnight on board
Departure from Marina di San Vincenzo around midday. First leg runs down the coast toward Capo Populonia. Below the headland you get the long sand curve of Gulf of Baratti, pine trees on shore and shallow water close in. This is a good first swim stop and lunch on deck with the yacht at anchor.
After lunch the yacht heads across to Elba toward Porto Azzurro. The run crosses the Piombino Channel, where dolphins are often around the bow. As you approach, Elba comes up with steep green slopes and old forts on the waterfront. The boat drops anchor inside Porto Azzurro bay, a sheltered anchorage with light breeze and flat water. When the lights start coming on along the waterfront, dinner is served on the aft deck.
In the morning the yacht cruises down the east side of Elba toward Pareti Bay. The coastline here is cut into little coves, sandy bottom, clear water, schools of fish holding along the rocks. Time at anchor to swim and just sit in the water. Then an easy cruise along the shore past Capoliveri and Punta Calamita, where the cliffs get higher and small beaches sit between the rock ledges. After lunch the course turns back toward San Vincenzo. By early afternoon the yacht is back in the marina.

Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
